Blackform provides reinforcement fixing as part of coordinated structural concrete packages and, where agreed, as a defined trade scope. Ordering and delivery are coordinated against approved reinforcement schedules. Bars and mesh are then placed and tied to the structural drawings, with attention to bar mark, diameter, spacing, laps, cover, chairs, starters, ligatures, penetrations, cast-ins and congested junctions.

Because the delivery team sequences formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement together, potential clashes can be raised before the pour. Inspection access and nominated hold points are maintained for the engineer or certifier as required, then loose tie wire and reinforcement offcuts are cleared during clean-down. Reinforcement grade, detailing and cover come from the engineer’s documentation, with material compliance records retained when they sit within Blackform’s supply scope.
