Tree House
Builder – Milestone Building
Architect – TBC
What we did
Curved roof formwork. Architectural off-form concrete with shadow-line detail. Feature bridge. Feature column. Stairs.
How we delivered it
The Tree House was a concrete-led job. The curved roof, the bridge and the architectural off-form elements were all pieces where the finish was the face of the build — no render, no cover. Every tie pattern, every shadow line, every pour junction was designed back from the finished surface.
We ran formwork, steel fixing and concrete as one sequence. That meant the builder wasn't chasing three subcontractors on program — the one team owned the slab up.
Shell House
Builder – Milestone Building
Architect – TBC
What we did
Curved suspended roof. Off-form structural elements.
Concrete kitchen benches. Viewing hole through suspended deck.
How we delivered it
The Shell House is a sculptural build — the curved rear elevation is the signature — but it was also a technically demanding pour sequence. The viewing hole through the suspended deck required formwork set up around a finished opening, with every tolerance held back from that.
Much of the work is now concealed behind render, but the structure underneath — suspended floors, ceilings, the curved roof geometry — is ours. The concrete kitchen benches and the viewing-hole detail are the visible pieces.
“Honest and reliable. The biggest thing in construction is actually doing what you say you're going to do — and they stick by their word. Very thorough on timing and program.”
